North Norfolk and MacGregor form the NorMac corridor, part of the Trans Canada highway between Portage la Prairie and Brandon.  Both of Canada's major railroads also go through the corridor and Highway 34 transverses the municipality from North to South at Austin.  The area is ideal for mixed farming, specialty crops and light industry.

Communities in the area are Austin, Sidney, Bagot, and Rossendale.

The region's economy is based heavily on agriculture and agro-related industries.  Area producers grow many different field crops which include cereal grains, oilseeds and many specialty crops to supply several different industries such a McCain Foods Ltd., Midwest Food Products Inc. and Can-Oat Milling Products Inc.  The area around MacGregor is also well suited to produce various livestock.  The community is also home to several small to mid-size manufacturing firms that produce items such as candles, craft supplies,  farm machine components and wood-crafting.

There is a relaxed country atmosphere, lots to see and do and we are just a short ride to the major centers. Come and check us out, you just might wind up staying.
